A new temporary home

I am reaching out to all my friends and supporters. Two days ago a friend sang his last song. It was a tragic and surprising loss. Walter, I swear you made a huge difference to my journey, to my vocation to ART. I want to thank you for believing in me. Your support came from both heart and knowledge. You saw me painting in the hostel, you watched and liked my updates on WhatsApp.

For the last few days I have felt that the time had come to reach out to you and call you. I missed it. I was too late. Sorry.

I do not want to tell the whole story here. There are new posts on my Patreon page, and this is where I am processing this loss in real time, with all the means I have. If you want to see how I turn grief into art, join me on Patreon. I have created a new world where art becomes a way of making life better. Especially in this case, I am able to process a huge loss through another medium: text and images, writing down the words that surround me like a cloud and combining them with concentrated images.

At the moment there are 9 subscribers, 6 of them in the Silver and Bronze tiers. I give deep insights into how to live by art alone, how to structure and plan, and how to develop a strategy in order to serve the ART-World from your own perspective. And this is the unique part: Art doesn’t wait until you are in perfect conditions. It comes to you, and you recognize it. You feel the vocation by instinct.

I am a free and independent artist. No gallery yet, no museum yet, but growing visibility through small self-organized exhibitions while I am travelling around the world.

I am very proud to announce the first GOLD post I wrote two days ago in my new Basecamp, „San Cristóbal de las Casas“ in Chiapas, in the southeast of México. The GOLD post is waiting for you on Patreon.

This post also comes with a video recorded during Walter’s last days, without knowing they would be his last. I was watching a documentary by Werner Herzog, the famous director who worked with actor Klaus Kinski, in which he interviews prisoners in Huntsville, Texas, and documents their lives. He captures the last moments of a man waiting for his execution.

I love my life, following my destiny with total vocation, connecting the time when I first realized that I am an artist with the life I am living now.

If you want to see how I turn grief into action, how I transform a broken heart into a new body of work, then come over to Patreon. The Grief Manifesto for Walter is waiting for you there, handwritten in coloured pencils, and I read it aloud in a video that no one else will see. Your subscription doesn’t just support my journey. It gives you a front-row seat to the process of how an artist survives, produces, and keeps going. That is what my Patreon is about. That is what „Living the DASH“ really means.

Thanks for your attention. Enjoy every moment in life, through both the ups and the downs.

P.S. The Grief Manifesto is already online. The video is waiting. Join me on Patreon to see them.
