Mérida – Creative Base

In Mérida, I created a temporary anchor point to stabilize my artistic work while building structure around visibility and support. After extended periods of movement and multiple phases of displacement, it became necessary to establish a place that could hold continuity.

The focus here was not only on producing work, but on constructing a system around it. The webmap evolved into a central element — a spatial narrative where each location is not just documentation, but part of a larger structure connecting movement, memory, and support.

Alongside this, I developed reward systems through Patreon, BuyMeACoffee, and direct supporters. The intention is to create a sustainable loop: process becomes visible, visibility creates connection, and connection enables continuity.

In Mérida, I also produced content for newsletters and social media, recorded short videos, and continued shaping the storytelling for Exil I–III. The goal was to align artistic work with a stable financial structure — without separating the two.

This phase was less about expansion and more about consolidation. Stabilizing the nervous system, reducing volatility, and building a foundation that allows the work to continue beyond immediate uncertainty.

Mérida became a place of quiet construction — where little appears to happen on the surface, but underlying systems are built to support everything that follows.
