My bodyguard for the long journey from Austria to Spain and México. Part of the Wanderbilder series “Songs of Desire.
Painted in Spain one week after my exhibition in Wolfsberg, and later carried with me to Mexico.
As I travel alone through Exile III, without company or protection, I created this piece as a form of self-protection — a quiet bodyguard painted into existence.
It belongs to my ongoing series “Songs of Desire”, works shaped by movement, vulnerability, and the need to stay alert while remaining soft.
